The Welcome
Floridays is the North Captiva house guests come back to — the one where mornings start with coffee on the deck, afternoons belong to the pool, and sunsets happen barefoot on the sand a two-minute walk away.
The House
Floridays sleeps 12 across 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with a layout designed for families and friend groups. The main living level opens to a screened deck overlooking the pool. The top-floor crow's nest catches the Gulf breeze. Two master suites mean no one's drawing straws for the good bed.

Every room has its own name, its own bath, and its own way of making you feel like you chose the right one. (There's no wrong one.)

The Island
Floridays sits three houses back from a quiet stretch of Gulf beach — a two-minute walk from sand. Mainstays, Mangoes, Over the Waterfront, and the general store are a short cart ride away.
Getting here is part of the magic: a 20-minute ferry from Pine Island drops you into a different pace of life.
We're Island Club members — and so are you while you're here. Full access to the club's pool, beach bikes, and kayaks at no extra charge. It's the kind of perk that turns a good vacation into the one guests talk about after they get home.

Questions
North Captiva is different. Here's what most first-time guests want to know.
Fly into Fort Myers (RSW, 36 miles) or Punta Gorda (PGD, 40 miles). Take a shuttle or drive to Pineland Marina on Pine Island, then catch the Island Girl ferry (or Emmy Girl) about 20 minutes across to Mainstay (formerly Barnacles Dock). Our property managers at Tortuga Properties meet you at the dock, help with your luggage, and escort you to the house. We'll send a full arrival packet with ferry info once you book.
There are no cars on North Captiva. Floridays includes two golf carts — a 4-seater and a 6-seat limo — how everyone on the island gets around. The house is a two-minute walk to the beach, and you can cart to anywhere else on the island in under 10 minutes. All drivers must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.
There is no grocery store on North Captiva — just a small general store. But our property managers at Tortuga Properties run a first-rate grocery service: they pick up your shopped order on the mainland, boat it over, and stock everything in your kitchen before you arrive. You can order via the Dumpling app or send Tortuga a written list. Liquor and fresh seafood can also be delivered daily. We'll send all the details in the welcome packet once you book.

Linens, towels, fully stocked kitchen, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, washer/dryer, gas grill, both golf carts, beach chairs and umbrellas, coolers, pool and deck furniture, and starter supplies (paper goods, soaps, beach towels).
No pets, please — strict no-pet policy. We love animals but Floridays is a no-pet home for guest allergy reasons.
Cancellations more than 90 days prior to check-in: 100% of rental payments refundable, less any applicable platform or credit-card processing fees. Cancellations less than 90 days prior to check-in: rents and deposits forfeited. We strongly recommend travel insurance — the full rental agreement details are sent with every booking.
You skip the platform service fees. The flow is simple: check our calendar on VRBO to see what's open, then email us for your direct rate. We send you the same rental agreement, take payment directly, and you get the same house, same Tortuga Properties on-island team, and a direct line to us for any questions.
